  • Lead the Maintenance Work Planning, Scheduling and Preparation sections of Maintenance as per Operation Excellence standards. Responsible for implementation and embedment of Maintenance Planning process within Shell Gabon- Set up and ensure effective use of Maintenance planning tool set (SAP & Primavera) by all functions involved in the process- Ensure effectiveness of Activity Change Control process for all Maintenance activities- Produce short & medium term Functional Maintenance activity plans for all company operated assets such that they are used as principal source of input into the Integrated Activity Planning process Business Plan (BP) & Integrated Production Plan (IPP).
    Implement and roll out Maintenance planning & scheduling process in line with MIE standards and improvement initiatives Produce Maintenance Activity Plans for all defined windows 14 days, 90 days and 2 years Produce Maintenance Shut Down Plan & Coordinate Activities Prepare WorkPacks Liase with Activity Owner and coordinate materials, tools and manpower to arrive at the correct time. Ensure of issued plans through effective use of Plan Execution Criteria Prepare work packs for major maintenance activities Report planning KPIs as per OE requirements.

STATIC EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

  • I was charge of all Maintenance of static Equipment: Maintenance on Tanks, Pressure vessels, Heat Exchanger, Flowlines and Pipes.
    My mission was:
    Execute Preventive and Corrective maintenance on all static equipment in Shell-Gabon that covered (all tanks, PV, Heat Exchangers, Flowlines and pipes.
    Set up and review Management of maintenance contracts on all static equipment.
    Set up and review HSSE capabilities for all contract regarding static equipment.
    The dimension was the 4 SG onshore sites. The challenges were many for example the Major Maintenance of Storage tanks need strong and long preparation of resources, budget and knowledge of contract Management. To carry out these maintenance, the preparation of budget, Contract review are necessary prior to plan the activity.
    The activity where I learned more was the repair the main Oil line (18" Pipe) between Rabi field and the Gamba Terminal. This is combined the preparation, integrity, the criticality and the risque. The challenger was to repair without any oil deferment. The repair is to replace the clamp by a pipe using the Hot Tape technics. The Work preparation took one year and the execution time took three weeks.

MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

  • I was in charge to execute and manage all corrective and preventive Maintenance in Gamba.The Maintenance Coordinator enhances service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizing maintenance processes using SAP PM. This position covers the 3 disciplines Mechanical, Electrical and Control Automation section. This position, a key link between the field maintenance organization and the engineering and manufacturing centers, provides input to improve equipment, reliability, and maintainability.The Maintenance Coordinator has a critical role in connecting field operations with the maintenance organization, helping minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity.
  • I have in depth knowledge of basic mechanic, diagnostics and troubleshooting of all rotating equipment and engines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety, quality and environmental laws, and regulations like HAZOP (Hazard & Risks management)
  • Knowledge of production processes (Operation Excellence) with good exposure in mechanical equipment
  • Well versed in planning, scheduling and managing maintenance work staff by using ERP as SAP
